4 out of 5 stars Fun cruise fest

Did this route two times, once in the rain, would for sure do it again any day. Watch doing a double rope rap, I have heard you will get a rope stuck...

5 out of 5 stars Watch out for the two-rope rappel!

A wonderful, 4-star, exposed route. One of the best of it's grade in the whole park.

Beware the oft suggested two-rope rappel. I've been successful with it once, and, the second time, had it hang up so badly that we had to ascend the ropes to fix the snag, which was a friction-only snag.

Joined ropes with another couple (the second time) to do the 2-rope. One of them had been on the route multiple times, and this experience reinforced his belief that the route should be rapped using single rope.

5 out of 5 stars Great Route

Great climb!!! Have a outstanding time. If you have two 60m ropes you can rap the route in two raps. I would not like raping with only one 60m.

3 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

Can link pitches 4+5. Easiest way to descend: make 1 short rappel into the large gully behind the climb. Find the chains to the left, then use 2 70m ropes to make a single rappel all the way to the ground.

We were starting the 5th pitch as the sun went over the hills. 3 of us had to rap down with one headlamp in the dark when we had never done it.
