3 out of 5 stars Lead P2 this time

It's very fun, juggy, happy joyful, easy peasy. Lots of gear. Incredible rope drag if you go all the way to the strictly rap tree. It was an athletic event belaying my seconds.

4 out of 5 stars Did the P1 variation

P1 is fun if you do the variation. P2 is a hoot, a total jug fest with nice moves. Climb to the top of the corner and move left to the ledge to the left of Shockley's. You can use this as a way to bypass parties on Shockley's.

3 out of 5 stars Did P1 and P2

We started on the P1 variation and enjoyed the 5.5 climbing to the pine tree. This pitch eats gear and would be a good lead for a new leader. P2 is super easy, 5.3 with good gear.

2 out of 5 stars Linked with Shockley's Ceiling

Lead the first 2 pitches, then finished on Shockley's. The climbing was fun, but not amazing on those pitches.

3 out of 5 stars good, fun climbing

climbed w beau as a warmup. nice easy climb, found it quite enjoyable though. go all the way to the top and do all pitches. would be a fine climb for a new 5.5 leader in my opinion.

3 out of 5 stars This climb is ok, not great

P1 is a gardeners nightmare; some ok rock leads to a very dirty corner. Climb the dirty corner to a chimney. Climb the chimney or just go left and climb the outside of the chimney, either way it's a choss pile. P2 is much nicer, a beautiful 5.2 with a nice line. We did P3 of Shockleys instead of the third pitch of High Corner. Shockleys is always a pleasure, somehow that roof doesn't get any easier and the second roof is always a surprise. Frankly, i would rather do Shockleys ground up then this variation. High Corner had nothing much to offer, although P2 was delightful.

3 out of 5 stars 1st pitch only

It started to rain again so we only did the 1st pitch. I had a difficult time and I don't recall the chimney that people are talking about, so I don't know what the hell we climbed.

4 out of 5 stars Lots of fun

The 1972 guide mentions that this climb was the scene of a fatality and several major incidents. It would be easy to make this more difficult than it really is - perhaps that was what happened.
