Did this again the proper way this time staying out right up top and not clipping the last bolt on The Gift. Saw another person do that again today which it is easy to do. Following right up to the small mossy crack is much easier than the slightly runout section atop The Gift. The Gift is still more fun in my opinion.

its a great 8 follow the bolts. if you need to take some small c3 cams with you.

Found that during my onsight lead I had went too far left to the last bolt on the gift. This time stayed right at the top and found it more enjoyable and also more protectable

this was a great climb. just got back into leading my partner told me this would be a great climb for me. getting over the bulge and clipping the first bolt is defiantly the crux. i found good gear to suppliment the bolts. i used a #1 c4 and a #1 c3. i also found a few nut placements. the rappel is probably the worst part of the climb. you need a 70m or 2 60s to get to the ground.

Climbed this sucker fairly fast - about 20 min for something like 180 feet? Good number of draws plus a few nuts and small cams. Gear is very nice to have to help alleviate some of the runouts between bolts but you don't need much and it need not be big or even medium sized. Even with gear you will still have longish runouts here and there over easier ground - don't slip, that hike back would SUCK with a jacked up ankle! Harder to go straight up the bolt line but if you wander it takes the (slight) sting out. Felt like: Palm mantle, high step, repeat. Getting to the start bolt was like a harder version of what you were going to be doing most of the way up. Kind of an annoying bolt placement if you ask me... Much longer but oddly almost felt easier than Bear Cub to me...

Liked this route though top was a bit confusing as to whether last bolt was for Gift or Cert or shared.

...right off the start, and then it is easier from there. Much less sustained than The Gift. Bolted...but not sport.
