Forbers Route Accent
We hiked up from Thomas canyon on the east side and climbed the forbes route. Nice fun route for us beginning climbers. We roped for the 1st and 3rd pitches but went up free the second pitch. We did rappel all 3 pitches though.

soloing on Babo maybe wasn't most brilliant idea, but I wanted the summit and had already found the trail to Lion's ledge first time there with partner earlier in season (where we epic'd by going up wrong mountain, running outta water etc...) so at least this time I knew what to expect...didn't meet Itoi, but did get to face my mortality/need for water...guess that's about as mystical as can be hoped for :>
