Should have thought before starting up this sans-rope. Elvis legged the top 5 meters, thank god for an easy descent.

Felt harder than 5.8, but maybe it was just my early season lack of technique!

After climbing Veils of Illusion, which my friends assured me was a 5.9 and this was only a 5.8, I was shocked to discover how much harder this crack was to get up. Fun climb, though, once I got the hang of crack climbing.

Some think this is an easy 5.8, others think it is a notorious sandbag. We fall into the latter category.

I can't believe I slipped on it.

I'm not great at cracks so this was a real challenge for me, but it was a great climb and lots of fun once i finally sent it and then TRed it a few times.

Don't be fooled by the grade, indeed. This route looked too good to pass by and short enough to solo. Turned out it was easier than I expected and a nice highball.
