that looked easier than it was. The crack is much smaller than what it looks, largest piece I used was .75 and more smaller stuff. Its a little dirty but well worth it.

This was one of my first trad leads. Being a sport climber previously, I whipped at the begining of the finger crack.

Good route! Didn't know it was called Last Rites, we used to call it Banana Crack.

August, 1988. This was the first free ascent of Last Rites. I was working at Kolob as a Ranger and had the untapped South Fork as my playground. On the first Aided recon of Last Rites we found a 2" angle laying on its side in the dirt in a pod at the top of the route. Who knows when the first ascent occurred.
