Ascent Notes for: Aloof Roof - 5.8 Average Rating : 4.00/5

Just a couple business moves getting into the corner and then up and out and these protect quite well. If you pay attention to feet it makes a big difference. Once through the starter crack, the big flake you see from the ground looks kind of scary - it's really thin and poorly attached but kind of draws you to it b/c you think there should be pro. A few good cracks on the face to work with then things get a bit runout, although the climbing is fairly easy, provided you find the path of least resistance. Overall though, I'd recommend it. Maybe I was just having a good day but the level of effort and scariness were pretty low compared to some other Moore's 5.8s.

Not sure why this doesn't get done more often....i thought it was pretty good

I enjoyed this route although it is a little awkward in spots.
