The 5.8 squeeze is stout and a wee bit runout.

Wow, really enjoyed this climb! The crux getting into the squeeze chimney was a little nervy, but the run out on the rest of it was not as bad as it sounded. Did an alternate traverse right at the top rather than through the tunnel which I have done before. The traverse was not difficult but it did up the exposure level. I was thinking of doing Pony Express but there were at least 2 parties on that one so came to Harding Chimney, I'm super glad I did.

the scary hollow flake on p2 was more terrifying than the run on p1. the chimney isnt that bad, it's runout but you wont fall.

Although the pitons below the crux are probably not worth much, the crux is definitely psychological, so they work fine in this regard. Much easier than it looks, the face holds on the left wall of the chimney make all the difference. Took a #5 Friend and didn't place it. Other pitches are fun, except tunnel-through.

Pretty spooky if you're not the chimneying type.

Easier than it looks. I wouldnt want to fall though.
