Best 5.12a on the greenbelt with the exception of Tunnel Vision. A good kneebar halfway up this route can allow you to recover well enough to make the whole route feel like 12a. Otherwise it's a lot closer to 12b than 12a. Took several tries to send this thing but got it as the warm-up for the rest of the wall today.

solid 12a, pumpy and sustained!

Technical yet powerful vertical climbing on the lower half. Good rest in the middle, then it gets slighty overhung and pumpy to the top. Bees keep to themselves.

The ascent wasn't pretty, but I did lead the whole thing including the wild mantle at the top on the glued rim. Plenty of good powerful movement... and the bees next door minded their own business.

Seems harder to put together than other 12a's in Austin, IMO.

in the top 3 ugliest of my ascents. Even though I hung on this route more than any I can remember, I really enjoyed it.
It's sustained, and the most strenuous part was pulling above the flake below the 2nd bolt.
I'll be back when I'm in better shape.
