Just started climbing with every intent to protect somewhere halfway I felt good and kept on going. Good thing I had the rope made rappelling the preferred choice vice walking done in rattlesnake country

Just felt too comfortable and didn't place gear. My second said it was the easiest clean ever.

Every route on Green Rock was originally done by Dr. William Davis, Mark Joseph, and friends. The routes were done in the late 1970's and early 1980's and were all top roped. I have original pictures of the route when it was an unworn path and the area was clearly used little or not at all.

I've lead this 100 times,always have fun. Great first lead for those just trying. TR is available as sarmark suggests

This was my first climb. Went with l_flake. Seemed like a good beginner rock.

Took awhile to find the protection up top. Spent several hours climbing variations of this rout from on top rope.
