seemed hard for the grade. cool at the top.

I found the start to be pretty awkward, but the rest of the route was pretty straightforward. This climb is a hard 5.7...maybe even 5.8

More sustained crack down low, but not terribly long and finishes at a ledge. I plugged a cam and climbed down to rest at the start, then finished up the route. Past the first ten feet it's a good six. Consistent with T-wall ratings.

This will definitely seem harder than a 6. Kind of broken up except for the beginning.

my 1st trad lead and it was alot harder than a 6! akward crack to start but after that it got easier. good placements.. there are anchors off to the right or you can continue up to anchors higher

It was early in the morning when I led this so maybe I wasn't calibrated to difficulty quite yet, but I would say 5.7 is more in line. Keep a sharp eye out for the lower off bolts to the right.

Probably should be rated a 7 or an 8. Some quality crack climbing.

Don't miss this dynamite climb if you're at Sunset, but don't expect a true 5.6. Very sandbagged (consensus in my group is 5.8). The start is strenuous in terms of stances for pro, but plenty of nice placements. Climbing the left-facing corner, which was a little slick, I took my first real whipper (about 15') on gear, a #7 hex. I was disappointed not to get the onsight, but glad to know my pro will hold! This route deserves two stars!
