fun pumpy sport route

Well, I too ascended in the worst possible style - watched my partner hangdog it and then did my own hangdog lead, stopping at every bolt and even dropping off at one point. I was just pumped and my hands were cold. Looking forward to trying this one day when I'm feeling strong. The sequence was not terribly obvious in places so I think I wasted too much time searching for the best holds. Nice to have one cam during the runout between the last bolt and the anchor - not that it's particularly hard climbing, it's just that when I got there it felt harder due to what came before.

Still, it's a pretty fantastic climb, although the sustain was bit rough.

I was feeling tired and just starting to feel the effects of what would later turn out to be tendonitis in my left arm, so I hung at every bolt on this one, but was still happy to do all the moves and set it up for the group to top rope.

Great route, the runout isnt bad at the end.

Not as fun when the rock is freezing..

Good pumpy sporty climb

This is now probably one of my favorite sport leads at Crowders. Great movement, big hands, on an slightly overhanging wall. First clip a little daring, but the rest goes smooth. After the third bolt the pumpfest goes down by having some good rests. The top of the climb goes much easier and the little runout is not biggie. Must do climb for the grade.

Very fun route. would have had more fun if it would have been higher than 30 degrees, or if the wind wouldnt have been blowing 30 mph, or in the sun. Very numb hands.
