I wouldn't go "ditto for Mayflower" on gear for this route. Put some of the #2's and 3's back in the bag and pull out some smaller TCU's and finger size pieces for the technical stemming crux. This one will make you think, not an enduro route like so many others at the Forks.

I liked this, it's awesome, way better than Mayflower! Thin hands at the beginning, then a bouldery move off the pillar (or a stretch for short peeps), jamming, subtle in-cuts for some face features at times, yah.

PS. just clicked on the photo, that's me a couple of years ago trying it 4 the 1st time on TR & I thought there would be no way I could lead this thing!

fun route- more technical than mayflower, but just as fun.

stiff climbing at the beginning, wet/icy up high but a good route - probably more fun when dry :)

Pretty fun route. Did it on TR, will lead next time. i am a big vagina.

Had a bit of trouble at the bottom but sussed it out. Fun climb!

I liked it even better than Mayflower! I'd say this one is the best 9 at the forks.

A tarantula started up the route shortly after I did. I made it to the top; he bailed :)

phew, this one was a bit of a workout after all the crankin from the day before- really good, though.
