There were lots of people on the rock so we sort of climbed around them...missed the chimney but climbed the face to the right which was fun and more challenging than most of the other pitches. We then went left and around the arete and climbed up that way. It got cold and windy two pitches from the summit but it was worth it. Very glad we did it and recommend highly.

An awesome alpine route, and the first pitch was Meg's first trad lead. 40 mph gusts of wind added a little spice.

Great route! I ended up doing the 5.8 variation by going left of the chimney (by accident)... had a marmot try to eat my anchor at the last belay station... but a BEAUTIFUL route.

This is a classic, but start earkly and use the many variations to be at the front of the line up the chimney. The climbing is moderate and the views are amazing. A must do.
