Did the harder version of pitch 1 which was pretty fun. Strung p1&2 together which was quite a stretch. P3 was wicked fun.

1st pitch is un-memorable

Pitches 1 and 2. The traverse was amazing.

Very fun climb. It was one of my first traditional leads and I have good memories of it. I was aware of the traverse route finding and I still climbed about 10 ft. too far up! It was no problem down climbing though and I found the old pin and saw the, then obvious, ledge to go out to.

Followed by somewhat sparse gear on the traverse. That said, it's a delightful climb. Not sure I would put a Newb on it...

Flan led. I became aware of the phenomenon known as "Gunks grades." The traverse is fun and getting through the gap to the belay ledge was a bit tricky.

Followed by Valerie. Started with the crack version. Found less gear on the traverse compared to the last time I led it - guess I probably placed stuff in marginal placements last time due to the middle person in our group being very new, wanted her to not worry about the penji. Also, hadn't led p1 or p3 before, so now I have done the whole route. P3 is quite nice, though not very long.

View is less impressive than average for the Trapps. Can't really see the other cliffs, or even much of the one you're on.

nice route, had to bail after the 2nd pitch because it was getting dark
