I led the 1st pitch, taino led the second.

1st pitch is easy climbing and easy to protect. The start of the 2nd pitch is fun and takes good pro. but then comes the traverse left which is long, exposed and has very, very little pro - my first real experience with a PG rating. But it’s my favorite pitch I’ve lead thus far. The 3rd pitch was fun but communication can be a problem when you top out.

Made it harder on myself by going offroute on the traverse, doing some 5.7 moves left to the overhang/ledge. Made it harder on Sarah to follow. Gave the next leader my pro he cleaned for helping us.

swapped leads; i got p2. p3 is aesthetically beautiful! great climb. too bad i didn't do it years ago

Led p1 and p3. p3 is by far the best, fun climbing up some nice dihedrals.

woo-hoo, I led it! (my first multipitch lead).

I think we may have been offroute on the 2nd pitch... Followed the dihedral, then traversed pretty much straight across instead of angling; made it a bit interesting. Regardless, definitely a nice climb. I can see why it's a classic.<BR><BR>5/30/2004 - Full lead, although I went up the dihedral instead of across the face on p2. <BR><BR>6/7/04 - Swung leads; took p2 and did the traverse. Sweet little section!!
