4 out of 5 stars Haven't been on this in years

If you can get through the first moves, the rest of the climb is easy peasy. Not sure how to get off the route. We went to the top and walked climbers left to the Beginners Delight tree. We rapped three times to get down, wasn't sure my 70's would hit the lower tree or not. This is a fun climb, very exposed but very easy climbing. Gear is plentiful.

4 out of 5 stars shaking the rust out

After a six weeks of toproping local crags due to weather and prior committments, it was nice to get out on a little trad. And on a Wednesday to boot!! Andrew and I decided to shake out the rust on something really mellow. Had never climbed Minty before and it has a couple starts, so up we went!

Andrew led P1, and I led the upper half in two pitches, belaying on the GT.

5 out of 5 stars Last climb in the Gunks...

This was fun... I followed Tadan up to Bags End then back around to do the 2nd pitch of Minty and then I lead the 3rd easy pitch. Ate BBQ Wraps at the top and rapped off Beginners Delight.

2 out of 5 stars One hard move

The beginning corner has one hard move; everything else is a run to the top. Linked 2nd and 3rd pitches.

5 out of 5 stars forgot how much i like this climb!!

climbed w pavel. i led and he seconded. did P1 and then linked P2 and P3 (with one rope no problem). this is just such fun climbing and nice moves. gear is great and i thought it was pretty easy and straightforward to stay on route. anyway, this is for sure on of the best easy climbs in the gunks!!

5 out of 5 stars Holy blueberries.

First climb at the 'gunks - loved it. A mentally challenging 5.3, if there is such a thing! The first move is absolutely do-able but balancy if you're short, on P2 you have to go into a chimney to get a foothold and then hang completely back out again into the air to step sideways onto a ledge - needless to say, yikes, but everything else is an absolute snap. Gorgeous view and big flowery, blueberry-covered field at the top. Walked for a couple minutes to a downclimb (which felt struggly to a wee person laden down with ropes, big pack, etc.) to a 2-rope rappell off of Madame G.s. While climbing, crisscrossed with climbers who had lost their way on things like Beginner's Delight (left of this climb) and Tipsy Trees (right of this climb).
