My first multipitch climb! This was a great climb. The second pitch where I turned out onto the face was awesome. I did the Minty Overhang variation, since I had the luxury of seconding.

This was my first multi-pitch climb after years of top-roping around Pennsylvania. My climbing partner, Keith, lead it and I seconded. We brought Kate up using a second rope I trailed behind me and clipped in after unclipping mine. I didn't fall, I was good and scared, and we all made it to the top. I LOVE the Gunks! This is a great first multi-pitch climb, even though it is over 200'. It looks harder than it is. The crux for me was a little right traverse at the top of pitch two. The rap down is FUN! Going back this weekend!

Did it in 4 pitches. Popping out of the chimney was lots of fun.

led p1 and p3 for my first leads ever with dave. Belayed on the tipsy trees ledge (off route) for p1. Led all 3 pitches on 5/29 with no route finding problems second time around. Climbed this again with Eric. He led the 1st P and I led P2 and P3. On P3 we did the 5.5 roof variation. Start to the climbers right from the roof and traverse left at the horizontal, clip the pin, and pull the roof at the notch. Note: can use a 3.5 camalot right under the 2nd overhang. I must of downclimbed 6-8 times before pulling the roof....was hard to figure out what the moves were.
