Ascent Note
The guidebook says that it's a 5.6, but it's much more like a 5.5-; decent feet, a couple tricky spots, good placements. One hollow-sounding flake with an acceptable hex placement behind it (don't use a cam, there). Bring a mix of large and small pro (green alien to black Tech Friend). Mostly passive pro.
Fun route. Crux half-way up.

Ascent Note
This is not really a 5.9 - more like a 5.7. Not bad at all. Fun little climb.

Ascent Note
In my trail-running sneakers, without rope - sketchy. Easy with climbing shoes.

Great route, gets a lot of late afternoon sun. Two cruxes; one low, one high.

Ascent Note
Excellent route; tough, reachy fingerjam through the crux, or a tough layback with no good feet. Highly recommended. Easier for taller climbers.
My first attempt was an onsight and I finished the route, but I pulled a tendon in my wrist doing it. Three months later (registered date), I flashed it.

Ascent Note
Fingerpocket hands, very scarce. Decent feet - wear the tight shoes. Worth the hassle of setting up a non-bolted anchor and a directional. Go direct from the ground on this one; fun little start.

Ascent Note
This so did not feel like a 5.6 - more like a 5.7 due to lack of handholds and awkward stances. Not a great route, as is; very awkward, not much flow.

Nice warm-up on a packed wall. Good intro to finger pockets. Can do the 5.6 start on this one; nice!

Ascent Note
Lots of exposure on the second pitch, especially for a 5.3. The first pitch is a one-move-wonder, but it's a hell of a move; lots of people back off from it. REVISED - 11/22/03 - full lead, redpoint.
