Best climb of the weekend
Mainliner was worth the hike back to Sundance. Each pitched offered a different challenge--fun stemming, awkward bulge, steep finger crack, etc. Interesting descent and we got lucky with the weather yet again.

I led the first pitch and Doug led the rest. Minor issues finding the rap rings, but it was a gorgeous day and the weather cooperated.

Fun multi-pitch sport
This was a fun multi-pitch sport climb. Well protected. A 2-3 moves were 5.9, the rest was a fun cruiser route with nice views. In the sun in the morning.

Yeah
Crux move at the bottom-finger crack with a polished foot makes it tricky. Then on to a traverse that felt exposed. Middle part is cruiser. The top becomes slightly wide--too big for my cupped hand but too small for my fist--yikes! I liked Ship of Fools much, much better.

Nice
Has a bit of everything; boulder start, twin cracks, stemming, hand jams. Nice, but a bit of loose rock in the middle.

Cragging it
Fun crack; nice hands till the crux where it gets a little small and flared. 2 moves and you're at at jug. My favorite climb of the day.

Doug's 500th climb
A fun climb with some tough spots. the first few moves of Pitch 3's traverse had nice exposure. Pitch 4 starts off fun with some stemming but ends with a very difficult, steep hand crack section that had me cursing like a sailor. Beautiful views, and a good route to do for Doug's 500th climb.
