Very technical 5.7. May be a bit more difficult then grade states. Excellent route alot of fun.

gunks goer said that he was glad that he followed this pitch, I must agree. There is no doubt that a fall from anywhere from the crack to the anchors would mean groud fall. Make sure your smearing is up to par.

5.8 start without a doubt (to left) 5.9 (right start), good hand crack

Fun fun route. My favorite so far at J-Tree

First trad route for me, I enjoyed this route very much. Deviated a bit form the guide that lists Omega 5.7. Crack was a little dificult for me as it was my firsr crack experience and my first time cleaning gear from a leader. But we onsighted this route. Got a little lost on the descent due to most J-Tree guide books leave this part out. We came down the south side of the campfire crag which was another graded climb in it's on.

Greasy flake provides the crux of this route. Really poor grip entering the chimney making progression difficult. Really fun and fustrating
