4 out of 5 stars Cool Route

Fun climb with a cool move at the top. It's usually dirty up there.

4 out of 5 stars Balance

This route is pretty cool. Without beta it can duff stronger climbers up. It's all about proper feet to maintain good balance. Clip the 3rd bolt from above to save some energy. The top has good holds, but some are dusty and there's a bit of run-out to the last piton if you are getting pumped.

Walk over and clip the chains to top rope Buddha

4 out of 5 stars Fun Route

I've only climbed Slate a few times, and do it differently every time. The beginning crux can be as easy or hard as you make it. I usually make it hard on myself and muscle through with crappy technique, hahaha

5 out of 5 stars Tough crux!

This is my hardest clean lead ascent to date. The crux move is pretty technical (and a little reachy). Stronger guys can do it statically, I have to throw a bit. But you've got to be accurate because it's a little 2-3 finger sidepull. Move up from there to a good rest and the 3rd bolt; on to a few big holds, then everything gets very slopey to the 4th bolt.

4 out of 5 stars Great Route

This route is a lot of fun; very powerful and sustained climb. I did it the other day in my fivefingers for kicks... next time barefoot :)
