That it felt more like an 11. Very difficult start--flared fingers that makes it tough to stay on. Fun climb, though.

Hard

I thought I would be ok with my hand size, but I was wrong! It is .5 to tight .75 size for most of the way, including the two crux sections. Finally eases up for the last 15 feet or so.

America's first 5.9

And it's terrific. Has a little bit of everything, starting out with a bouldery, steep sequence. P1 was my fav, especially navigating the flake. P2 is sustained and i switched off and on from shoulder scumming to laying it back.

with Doug. Rapping with 70m off anchors to the left barely gets you down. Great pitch, though, and am glad we went back to do it.

But fun. Did P1 of Fingertrip Traverse to get to El Camino. Finished up on P3 of Jensen's Jaunt I believe.

Long Climb

Did the original start. Wong start looks better. Second pitch was fun-great offwidth. Couple of interesting moves on p3 too. I think we got off route (again) for the last pitch. Couldn't tell you what we did but it was heart thumping.
