finger crack

10d section has nice finger locks, but not much more than smearing for your feet. First pitch is challenging to protect.

Haystack lead

Would have been dissapointing without doing Preperation H for the first pitch. Pitch two has one interesting buldge and an intimidating looking roof. Aside from thos two sections, there is nothing challenging about pitches 2 & 3.

both variations are great

I liked going straight up the crack on the left best, but the version 10 feet to the right hiking up the dikes to the roof is cool too.

Sustained 1st pitch

5.8 move off the ground seams easier than many of the large 5.7 step moves up the dikes. Sustained and fun first pitch. 5.7 mantle on second pitch is easy if you move right.

Cool buldge problems

Also lead the 5.9 boulder "mantle" at the end. It's not really a mantle move, it's a lieback followed by a beached whale move or a big step for more graceful climbers.
