ok, cool
great day, windy and cool. Actually the crack moves near the bottom are harder than any of the slab sections. The crux is just one move, well-protected and not too strenuous. Perty fun

Incredibly high quality
Admittedly, this route looks like all the others at first. It is only when you hop on that you can see and feel the perfect holds, challenging, thoughtful moves, and excellent position. A real classic that I would have led if it weren't pissing rain. Nice lead Will!

Very high quality grit route
This route has it all- bouldery start, jamming and laybacking in the middle, and a nice mantle at the end. Really varied and fun.

Excellent, fun, pumpy
Apparently the route has been upgraded to E1 5a, but I'm not complaining. It's really a hard boulder problem with an easy slab on both sides. Wonderful exposure for a single pitch route. Good gear, intimidating, rewarding.

Very good jamming
This was my introduction to peak hand cracks. Fists quickly narrow to hands, then fingers near the crux. Good protection throughout, though the belay area is a load of choss.

Wild and awesome route, bit soft
This is one of the best sport pitches I have done. Can't beat the exposure on a single pitch climb. The holds are great and the moves classic. The .10b rating is hard to believe. There were a handful of 5.9 moves by my estimation and the route wasn't that sustained (lots of kneebar rests). I guess if you don't mind exposure this would be a good first .10b. Bring lots o draws.

ok
This climb seemed overrated. The first two pitches had nothing to them (including protection!) and the last two, while in a nice spot, involved very straightforward liebacking and slab moves. Kind of fun, but not an all-time classic like the guide says (though it was written by the first ascensionist)

classic, got better with each pitch
On p5, instead of moving up the dirty groove, go straight up the finger crack. when it gets mossy, cut right across a slab then left around a block. right below Pine Tree crack is a cool slab with a 5.8 move. go for it

Classic moves on immense jugs.
flashed it following, then redpointed on lead. First bolt, while easy to get to and clip, is quite high (too high to stick clip, in most cases). The end, while not the physical crux, is the hardest because the route moves into the schist from the granite and the holds become less obvious. Very fun.

Wish it were longer...
...basically 10 moves on the juggy flake. Kind of a dud, and not worth leading (TR from Great Escape anchor)
