I hate slabs
For someone who doesn't like slabs, this start is difficult. I found the beginning harder than several 5.9s and 5.10s that we did during the same trip.

2nd day at the Red
Lisa & I went to Muir first (parking lot full) then to Pendergrass Murray (very crowded) then to this climb back at Roadside. The bulge at the top is way harder than 5.8, based on other climbs of the same grade.
