fantastic

great rock, overhanging, big holds and some more cereberal moves too. Jumpin in the Rogue after climbing was fun, nice hole there. Sketch landing to solo or boulder it...yikes

quite good

Mid summer into fall, water is low. Nice sandy landing but you gotta clean out your shoes more. Great rock.

Did full R-L Eliminate with Pebble face finish

You end up getting a hand in double tick hold (same start hold as pebble face problem) and then up. Could be V5 I guess. Can't use any of the crack, Layback or jam or anything.

Nice for what it is

I soloed up it in running shoes with a pack on, but it's really not bad as a little route or problem, a little high especially for a beginner, but a TR wouldn't be too hard to rig. Great summer swimming after you are done sweating on routes. 4 stars relative to what it is.

Fun

Easier start, trickier top-out than right side jugs, finish is about the same as the hard middle eliminate.
NOTE: can't seem to edit the different crags within Hellgate, but these first 4 routes are on one crag (taller) and the rest are on the little crag up river and a bit lower (only 30 yards up). We need a new name for the little up river crag...
