great climb
we spent the better part of an hour working this climb before i sent it with a standing start, which feels like V5 as there are still some difficult moves after the SDS. the top moves are solid V1- on positive crimps.

i used the static option
used the two bullet hole dishes for a foot after gaining ledge to get the side pull crimp near the top and then went for the lip. puts the climb at more around V5+/6-

It turned out to be easier for me to skip both face crimps and go straight for the blunt groove

A good route for trad practice for a seasoned trad master... not a great route for a first time leader as the rock requires good technique to place good pro although good stances are abundant all the way up.. i would give the top part 5.5 runout, and a little longer than a newbie would be comfortable doing. most people say bring shoes to walk off, i say bring water, its hot up there when your waiting for your second.

so so
the route is fairly fun at the bottom if it were not for the crack being hard to protect. bring many sized nuts and some mid sized - large cams for the roof area. i ended up having to bail off on of the bolts after running out of gear... good climb to practice good placements, just don't fall. there are two bolts on the lower face and also two up in the roof area just like the guide book shows
