Would do it again. Crux on P1, middle of pitch. P2 is vertical and juggy.

Do the Direct Finish (V1 - Uncle Rudy P3)

Enjoyable climb. Did the std P1 of Bloody Bush. Elected to do the obvious P2 variation, strait up the the large roof (all bark, no bite, & well protected, felt like 5.3, but exposed). The real P2 crux is beyond the obvious roof at a second overhang with a finger-crack. Not hard for it's grade (5.7)

Beautiful

Great Experience

Started a bit wet from an early AM shower, but dried out as we went. The crack ate small pro, particularly all my small tri-cams. Did it with a party of 5.

A Classic

Just did this 26 years after the first time in 1983. It was just as enjoyable. Forgot the ceiling move sequence, and used a poor-style knee bar to clear the ceiling. Next time will be more smooth.

Great Single Pitch thru Crux

Used a 60m to link first two pitches, then thru crux, to near-hanging belay at pine tree/rap anchors. Enjoyable, exposed, and solid-pro. Would do the Strictly to Shockley's Ceiling linkup the next time.

Did the first pitch after the significant 10/22/08 rockfall. The P1 crack is a great 5.3 with good pro. P1 was enjoyable.
