Technical start, fun finish
The P1 traverse leading to the P2 crack involves thin, technical face moves. Crack itself is discontinuous but with superlative hand and finger slots. One of the best on the cliff.

Puzzling and Positive
Figuring out how to get started in the P2 dihedral is reason enough to do this line. The corner itself is continuous, challenging climbing. Tree at base of off-width section is no longer there.

Up and away
Better alternative to the heavily chalked holds on the normal route. Was worried it might be too reachy for a short person but the difficulty isn't due to the reach. The moves are simply burly. I was able to place a small cam just above hardest moves, but well before bolts.
Be sure to complete p.2. Equally stellar to the first.

Worthwhile
Sloping face holds and a challenging mantle make this a somewhat different Daks route. A stiff 9.

Good crack climbing on p2
Good finger to hand sized crack right up from the belay on p2. Creaky flake is ready to break off - be cautious. Using both foot and hand jams at the top bulge makes it straightforward.

A little polished
The opening moves require careful foot placements. The rock is becoming a bit polished where there's been some guessing going on. Above that, the plates abound.
A rating of 10a is probably justified, although after the bottom 8 feet, the rest of the route is 5.8-5.9

Jug Haul
Steep, but very straightforward. All the holds are there and easily within reach. Agree that the rating is soft, but that doesn't diminish the fun factor. Overall, a very enjoyable route.

Slow and steady
Spent two nights on route. Too much fun to rush through.
