Heh.... there's a long story associated with this climb that I'll have to save for my wilderness journal. Let's sum it all up with - the description on this site is better than that in either guidebook. Bring extra 3" protection. That aside, excellent, excellent climb. This was my first crack climb. For me, the crux was when I finally had to actually trust nothing but hand and foot jams for the first time. But yeah, they don't call it a classic for nothin'.

Definitely fun. I didn't think it was as hard as V4 honestly, though my ability to rate climbs is nill. I also didn't think the left hand crimper was as bad as others have said either. I do certainly recommend this problem. I think it took me 3 tries.

Imaculate Contraption

Good problem, but feels more like a variation of Imaculate rather than it's own problem - they are essentially the same line. In fact, you could say that Imaculate is merely an eliminate variation of this problem. However, both problems are listed seperately in the guidebook, so I won't argue it. I recommend that you try it regardless. I also wonder - did whoever made the FA of these two problems spell the name wrong intentionally, or is it a typo on glenbouldering.com and in the guide?

Enjoyable climb. I do, however, give it an unofficial M.A. rating. First try, no falls or beta.

Interesting, and decent face route. I suck at rating climbs, but I think it's a bit sandbagged at 5.7. First try with no beta.

Only did the first section, up to the chain anchors. Very cool route - expecially the opening sequence and the high step/heel hook off a small right hand crimp. Recommended route. First try, with beta.

Easy, did this as a warm-up climb. Big ledge holds with some interesting balance moves to reach them. Climbed first try, no falls, no beta.

Can't remember if I climbed this without falling or not. It was a very fun route either way.
