4 out of 5 stars Truly my delight as a beginner

Flan led. I became aware of the phenomenon known as "Gunks grades." The traverse is fun and getting through the gap to the belay ledge was a bit tricky.

3 out of 5 stars nice way up to dangler

Nothing too special about it but a nice, well-paced climb. ledge above it is spacious but awkwardly angled with rock making it uncomfortable.

5 out of 5 stars wicked

Done after ascending something interesting. Followed Noah on my first day at the Gunks. Luckily, the moves required my full attention so I didn't think too much about the exposure. Felt good to send it and it ended up being the cap to a great day.

1 out of 5 stars skip it

Not even good as a warm up because of the annoying rope drag and puzzling moves. You have 2 blinds spots, one move harder than the grade and a ledge that you can hang out on. We tried using it as an easy one for a sport newby but she had a tough time on it.

4 out of 5 stars Great warm up!

This is a great way to get the muscles going before moving left to the harder stuff on Bonsai. Big holds, a variety of different moves and wonderful movement make it a fun one.

4 out of 5 stars Hung twice, scary finish.

A nice, steady climb until you get to the top when suddenly you're exposed and coming over a big hump with no view of the bolts or your next holds.

4 out of 5 stars TR summer project

My first 5.12 sent anywhere, anyhow. It took 3 trips to the quarries and many tries but it was worth it. A great climb, especially the first section with the crack.

The third section is tough, I took the far right option as the dyno is a ball breaker. I tried it again next time and still couldn't do it.

4 out of 5 stars first time trad

Climbed as a clean up man to Mike F's lead. My first trad route, second time outside.

Good climb but busy, as the number of ascents here attest. The climb itself is quite easy so it was a good place to learn a few things.
