Nice 5.9 - too short
An easy 5.9 that only suffers from being too short. Clipping the first bolt might be dangerous if you're not comfortable in this grade. I wish this climb were three times as long.

Only made it to 3rd bolt...
Lisa & I worked on this for an hour or so, maybe longer. By the time I had the sequence to the 4th bolt, I was too tired to pull the moves. Another time.

Lisa's first sport lead!
Lisa led this after we had worked on Bircham's Beach for an hour or more (3rd bolt.) She did great and only had to hang once or twice.

Nice intro to Summersville
I led this line as my introduction to Summersville Lake, as Lisa & I had never climbed here before. Wonderful area. This line is very enjoyable from the ground up. Bit sustained in the middle section... very nice.

Interesting crux
Lisa & I did this line and Sniff the Drill on our first trip ever to Summersville Lake...awesome area; can't wait 'til summer when the water level is up and the water temp warm. Thought-provoking crux for a 5.7 and a slight runout past the last bolt to the cold shuts... very nice.

Sustained but easy for the grade
Lisa & I ran laps on this climb on Sunday. A little sustained in the lower half but very nice line. Easy I thought for the grade. I'd like to go back and lead this one 'trad' at some point. First bolt has been fixed and is no longer loose.
