This climb is pretty good to warm up, or cool down. This was my last climb of the day, and left me wanting more....

Not very difficult, but still challenging. Only a few thin moves. Helps to have a good belayer through the thin spots!!

<br>This climb was a good warmup to the <b>City of Rocks</b>. <br>I am not certain it is deserving of the 5.7 rating, because the climbing is VERY positive.<br>
Never was there any uncertainty about the protection, because a bolt was placed every body length. Two ropes are required to safely descend a good portion of the routes here (this one included... unless you scramble up to the top / left and rap the other side.) <br>
We descended the opposite side of the buttress, on<b>Tribal Boundaries</b> using a single rope.<br>

Oh my heck.... this route caused me to fill my shorts. Good thing I was wearing a harness, or I would have had Sh%% running down my leg. Of course, if I wasn't wearing a harness I would be insane.<br> The experience is consistent 5.8 climbing for 200 feet. Some sections feel pretty runout, and the climb is just plain long...<p>
<b><font size="-1">The ranger told me a girl had just died on this route, and that a helmet would have made the difference. :(<p></font>

Great climb. <p>On-sighted in 1999, but never climbed it clean since. Took several falls, and whimped out a couple of times. I was thinking I would always be a <i>hang dog.</i> <p>Once I even suffered a laceration to my right hand when I tried to hang.... hang... hang on!<p>
I have kept coming back, knowing I could do it.

Proud of Fo_d for leading the Flee flicker, I had to show him that I had some more tricks in my friction toolbox. This climb is pleasantly difficult at the first and third bolts. Prior beta on pulling the bulge is helpful as well.

The best way to climb this route is in one long pitch. There is little sense to climb the third pitch; it is a gully filled with loose rock, and resembles a loading ramp. Unless you want to scramble to find a rappel, just climb the first (1 and 2) pitches

very exciting. The rock is very low angle, and has potential for a slide and catch fall. Although I was sliding, I never weighted the rope. Both partner and I think this warants a redpoint.

This route is always a challenge. I could climb it again tomorrow, and like it just as much. Endless variations exist.

Linking pitches 1 and 2 makes for a much more enjoyable climb. Otherwise pitch 1 is a bit short.
