Never again. This is for sure NOT the preferred way to access tree ledge. Pick a route with some %@#$ing pro. This is borderline X if you don't have big bros, cause a fall from the squeeze chimney will deposit you on a large ledge if you dont make the manky bolt.

This is a SERIOUS route.

Huge holds and short lieback crux's at bottom and below the last bolt. Only one or 2 hard moves. Steeper than it looks though.

I RP'd it on my second try. There's a thank god rest about 3/4 of the way up that features a really cool "rock tube" thing that you can stick your whole hand through. Cool.

I stick clipped the second bolt to prevent groundfall. The rest of it went though, but those first two bolts!! whew, what were they thinking. That the boulder would break your fall?

Ascent Note

I climbed to the top of the slab then downclimbed all the way to the bottom after seeing a wasp nest in a pocket that freaked me out. I preserved the onsight though and fired the route without ever weighting the rope. I reclimbed it WAY left of the wasps. Whoohoo. booo wasps. I hate those damn things.
