Great route.... !
On my list of top ten climbs. Every pitch was a Cadillac climb. I led the evens and Charlie took the odds. The chimney was easy to protect. Great exposure on most pitches. The view on top awesome. Fun times.

Beautiful granite face climbing. 1st pitch the most sustained. Pro- bolts, placed small gear aliens, nuts. Cozy belay at the big Juniper. Your second is always in view. 2nd Pitch a dreamy cruise.

Classic route, 1 pitch easy face climbing. 2nd pitch was a blast, great exposure. Route finding difficult on the 3rd pitch traverse! Stay right.

Magnolia, very sustained 1st pitch, crack climbing, foot jams..! The roof, you must chimney up commit and swing out to crank roof, scary move makes you scream with delight as your heart will be pumping. Maybe that is why men like it!

Ascent Note
Moby Dick is classic... the climb, the chicken heads and the views. I set my first chicken head belay anchor on the 3rd pitch... better know the slip hitch for this climb.

The Mace rocked...! It is one of the top ten coolest things I have ever done. Loved all the pitches. My favorite was the step over as you look 300 ft below you. The jump back requires great timing, pick out a flat landing...

Beautiful 100 ft spire, my first 5.8 trad lead. Was memorable on so many levels.
We sat atop of the Owl and enjoyed the magnificent views of the mighty La Sals.
