Chossy, But Fun
I'm not sure why some people dislike this route. No, it's not like the rest of Malibu. And it is chossy. But it's fun movement. And the big plus, in my opinion, is that because it's more technical and less physically taxing, it can be a decent end to the day after trashing yourself on the more overhung sections of the crag.

Maybe it's just that I ought to be onsighting anything at this level. But it didn't seem particularly good, bad, or anything. It was fun, I guess. But nearly all climbing is fun.

A Thanksgiving Quickie.
Arrived at camp on Thanksgiving just in time to jump on this route before turkey time. Fun movement. My favorite route on this wall. Did the rest of the routes the next day.

A Grunter.
Pretty fun. Crux is pulling the feet up over the bulge while working awkward fingers. We had three climbers try it. All three sent it. All three grunted, at least a little. I was the loudest.
BTW - We used TR plus a couple of directional pieces in the crack.

My least favorite of the routes I hit on this wall. The first half was super easy. After that, a little more challenging.

Just Ok.
Slightly awkward, but not bad. Not as good as "Poppa" or "Boris", but still fun. 'Course, I enjoy most of the routes I climb.

Fun Enough.
I've read that the routes on this wall are nothing special, but I enjoyed them just fine. After all, you can't have every route described as "A Classic." This was fun.
