The climbing here sucks. With nothing better to do, and having already hiked the nearby mountain twice, my friend and I resorted to traversing the roadcut. The rock is crumbly, the holds are filled with sand, and grass climbs the rock better than me, but any climbing is better than none at all. We got a few honks and waves. Somehow, tiny pieces of glass got up in some of the holds, so we have to be a bit careful of sharp things, but we didn't get any serious cuts. Took several tries, because the grass covers several feet of the traverse, and makes it slippery and difficult.

Onsight Onsight ascent by: coldclimb on 2002-07-20 (View Climbing Log)

This was a great route, and lots of fun to climb. It was the first route I've ever climbed on lead, so the crux was kinda shaky as I had to stretch for the second clip with a seemingly huge fall below me. :) I managed to onsight it though, which is pretty cool for me.
