Nice and varied - overhanging jug haul -> a short face -> slab -> juggy crack. Totally fun.

Went up to Franconia Notch for my first day of seconding a trad leader. It was soaked so we headed down to Rumney and tackled this baby (and then do some sport). I followed, cleaned, and then climbed again (still on TR) and replaced the gear. Good times had by all.

I'd never redpointed above .9+ outdoors before, having done most of my hard route climbing in the gym. Circumstances placed us at the 5.8 crag that day, so I decided to give a burn on the easiest route that we knew of (no guidebook), and managed a flash. A seriously rad route too! Stoked.

Previous to this I could not have imagined a 5.3 being fun at all. It was awesome, plus the view from the top is unbelievable. Also my first multipitch. Great for practicing multipitch skills.

I heard this was one of the best .8s at Rumney, and I'd have to say I believe it. Very nice line and varied moves requiring technical footwork and trust on some good slopers.

Fun face route with a couple good sidepulls. I accidentally made the crux harder since I didn't know about the not-so-obvious jug until my left hand just kinda landed on it.

Rainy day and the first four bolts were soaked. Lucky for me my partner clipped the first three on his first try :) The last few bolts are under the huge roof and the dry rock under there was totally positive in comparison to the start.
In all fairness I did come back a week or two later and climb it placing ALL of the draws.

The key to the problem is footwork. I got a lot of beta from my friend Bryan.
