Powers.Goldwire's Logbook (4 ascents)

Fun climb fell 3 times and still havnt made it to the top. It would be nice to put a bolt right on the lip of the hang and under the hang. Other then that its a classic route thats worth climbing.

Great climb for beginning crack climbers, its short and sweet. Pulling past the crack is were the real climb begins. After you hit the first bolt on top of the crack to the right theres chain anchors roughly 15' 20' feet about the first bolt. Above the crack the climb is mostly all slab with little holds that are really commiting.

Deffinatly a fun warm, little micro rails that calls for lots of smearing and crimping.

Upoun the first sight of this climb it made me studder. Smooth solid slabs as the crack offwidths as you pull the overhang. Its deffinatly a project that most would dismiss after the first few failures. My first ascent on Thurmonuclear I aided it and let me tell you its not easy. Number 2. 3. BD cams work best on the underbelly of the crack. As you pull the lip its best to use meduim sized offwidth cams as the final pull is flared out. All in all its deffinatly a route that earned its rating.
