First tried it back in 2010 and couldn't stick the crux. 2 years later I finally get back and need two tries to make it work. Can finally put this to bed!

took a few takes to find the foot

Really fun moves on jugs through the first half then the crimps hit and that one move over the lip to hit the slab. That move, hm, it takes some doing to find the foothold beneath you and out of sight. Gotta get on this again and send it.

hung sooo much

The beginning of this is so fricking hard, I almost gave up. Thank god for stick clip!
Then coming over the bulge at the top of the arete--also super hard! After all that, I took a 20 foot whipper off the dihedral near the top. My foot slipped and whoosh, there I went. Took everyone by surprise.

fun but choppy

Was told it was a 10 before getting on, now finding out it's an 11. that explains why it was so hard. Used the wet dihedral instead of the rock over in the beginning, had to take before the mantle as I couldn't find the crimps and enjoyed the crack near the end. Long route, with lots of variety.

hardest flash in Red this trip. Nice bouldery moves with heel hooks, rests and lateral layouts to keep things interesting.
