Sent direct.
I'd keep the rating at a 5.7 on the direct - but I'm also 6'2". Sent it first go. Ugly finger crack, much of which I avoided with my reach. Sweet climb though!

My 2nd day on multipitch, and this was a gorgeous way to start it. Every pitch was fun!

Tiny alcove!
As a 6'2" climber, stuffing myself into that first little belay alcove was amusing, for sure.
Way fun climb, definitely worth getting up when you have the chance. Felt great! This was the middle part of my day, my second day on multpitch - we managed to get in 8 pitches and 9 stars. ;)

Wow.
What a way to close out my second day on multipitch. 8 pitches between 11am and 7pm, and this was the last route of the day.
The long second pitch was arguably more brutal than the ceiling, truthfully, but wrapping my *brain* around that ceiling pull.. well... different story. When I pulled and went for footing I missed, and almost peeled and... well... I very nearly needed a new set of boxers. ;)

Too cool.
Awesome route hidden into a little alcove - no one'll be bothering you. Burly for a 5.6, but.. well.. it's an off-width.

Tight squeeze.
Fitting in between that tree and the face is... interesting. Those with some extra beer girth in the belly will find it daunting. ;)

Great exposure.
Very nice exposure for a top rope climb at Peter's Kill. Fair shake taller than most other routes I've done here, as well. Worth doing if you get the chance - set it up early in the day or later in the day, as it's almost always taken since it's one of the few bolted anchors.
