A shame it's bolted...
because this route can comfortably go on gear at G. Dirty dirty at the start of the season. Also 10a grade is somewhat dubious. Any knowledge of jamming and it goes at 9, max. In any case a worthwhile intro to hand cracks and laybacking.

Red Point ascent by:
A solid intro to 5.11 climbing
A great variety of slabs, pockets, jugs and stems. Nice technical start leads to a sweet rest followed by a beautiful crux sequence and a dihedral topout that keeps you're attention. Crux beta makes a major difference. A perfect warm-up for the harder climbs next door.

A proving ground for newbies testing their mettle
The fear of the 4-5 runout is perhaps somewhat deserved, but it's a clean fall and you're on a bolt. A great intro to pulling a roof. Worthwhile.

A fun, physical climb...
Forum regulars know her intimately as she's the most common exit route. The direct finish past chains to the hanging tree bumps the grade up from a 10a/b to 10b/c. Definitely can go on gear at around PG.

A great and educational introduction into the world of harder climbing. The 5.12 gateway for local climbers and a must for any visitor.
