Nice route. bouldery start to face climbing. I did this route many times but the first was either in 97 or 2003. I forget.

Did this one in preparation for a trip to yosemite. This is a very fun route that exercises your route finding skills. Mixed bolts and trad pro.

I FA'd the first pitch onsight and the whole route I got onsight maybe the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or whatever ascent. 2nd pitch wasn't finished when I climbed the 1st pitch. Since doing it a like 3 times now, it may be sandbagged.... maybe not. but then again, the whole grade thing is pretty arbitrary anyway and totally irrellevent to the quality of the route. grow a pair, do the route, and enjoy. pretty sustained.

Well worth the hike. Beautiful all the way around. Bring jacket and maybe thin gloves for the top. Plenty O water and some food too. Don't feed the marmots, and take your bags up if you can. I carried a smallish 23 or so litre pack and racked gear on the hike in. Big packs don't like the chimney section. Be prepared to wait in line. Bring camera! summit block gives excellent views that leave you speechless.

very fun easy mixed sport/trad slabness. forgot to take cams on 3rd pitch lead so I had to.........improvise an anchor (sling questionable hidden horn high on left huge flake, sit on ass, and apparently some simulclimbing was involved. unintended I think. thanks darryl!) Last pich was short but fun offwidthynessish.

fun route, watch out for the bats if climbing in the evening. almost bumped my head on one on the roof once.
