i'll have to come back to this place when i'm not lugging around 15 extra pounda of goo. the route is no walk in the park though. it's a constant overhang with moves that'll keep you thinking

the first half of the route is a bit sketchy with their shallow placment but they felt pretty bomber. the top was just a cake walk.

i've probably tried climbing this line 30 times but have only pulled it off 5 times. the 5th time just happened to be tonight. i didn't get marcus' take on the rating but tom and i both confirmed the rating to be 5.11c/d. the boulder start is pretty difficult being the first crux. then you have that crazy dyno at the top. the locals requested i put this on RC.com, so here ya go. this route has quite the variety of holds. it's got crimps, underclings, matches, slopers, a mantel and a dyno. it's rough but it's fun

lead the first pitch and my buddy jon led the rest of the pitches. jon, me, scott and billy had a blast! great exposure, very runout, cought in bad weather, followed the north boulder field down to the car... good times
