tough slopers.

took like 20 tries but eventually linked it. the sloping section below the final sidepull gave me the most trouble.

kemple's book has this as V2, but I don't boulder enough to know any better.

first winter alpine rock climb

weather was perfect, about 30 degrees with only 30-40mph winds. aided everything that was too hard including the 5.8 variation, used ice tools in a few spots. easily the most committing climb I've done! got more windy and more cloudy as we got higher. topped out just as it was getting dark.

but that bolt is rusty as hell. it's probably still good, but not too reassuring. especially when the rest of the pro is shady. rigged my first oppositional in that tiny horizontal crack under the bolt!

but friggin' sandbagged. if it's harder than 5.8.. then it shouldn't be rated 5.8. meh. it's still an amazing route!

the first 30 feet are pretty thin but manageable. getting above the alcove was friggin' awkward. overall awesome.
