Nice crack climb, somewhat unusual for the Mill. The crux is getting over the block and up to the crack about 20 feet off the ground. The flake and stuff above are mellow and fun.

Ascent Note
This is an okay face climb. A tree at the top of it seeps a lot for a while after a rain.

This is a very enjoyable thin face climb. I think the crux is getting all of one's balance over the left foot, which is perched on a small (and slick) bump. Most of the moves for the first 15'-20' are pretty thin and consistent, and I would agree with the 9+ rating, for whatever it's worth.

A lot of fun. Chockstone or no chockstone, I didn't think it was harder than 5.6. A few reachy moves get you out of the offwidth quite quickly and, at any rate, it is far from the difficulty of a Gunks 5.7. Fun face climbing and steep corner at the top.

A great climb! The bouldery beginning is great (at least as a follower). I got pumped taking out gear on the roof moves, which resulted in me falling and swinging into the tree. After disentangling myself I climbed up the left side of the roof and to the top. Pumpy 5.6 for sure!

I toproped this crack with my brother. Since the rope was over above the crack to its left the tension was kind of weird, but I would say this is probably 5.8. Not a bad crack, but not as good as the other two on this wall.

What an awesome climb....I've done it twice, and both were a lot of fun. The crack to the right of the chimney is strenuous 5.7 fist. The face between them is unprotected 5.6 knobs and not recommended. Watch out for the blood stain at the base of it.

This is a great runout Tuolumne classic. The first two pitches are straightforward enough, but I will defer to a Tuolumne Search and Rescue member when he said that "a 5.6 leader could die on the third pitch." It is VERY runout and scary. Don't even think about leading it unless you are comfortable at 5.8 or above, I'd say. It's one thing to be able to comfortably lieback a 5.6 dihedral, it's another to make those same moves while looking down at 100 feet of your rope swinging in the breeze! And with your anchor wedged in some boulders! A real headtest. Amazing route.

Nice climb.....good 5.7 lead for those breaking into the grade. I definitely disagree with ST's 5.6 rating for it....a few sections are pretty stout for 5.6, that's all. Easy to aid through the OW, if necessary.

Ascent Note
My buddy Ryan and I climbed this one evening after getting shut down on the East Buttress of El Cap. He led the first section, and I led the next long 5.8 finger pitch. It was my first 5.8 lead, and I was pretty proud, particularly because there was a bear romping around at the base of the dome in the middle of my pitch! Ryan got spooked leading out the third pitch, so I took over and, due to the failing light, we took the easier right escape route. This goes up into a notch on the right and up 4th class slabs to the top of the dome where we unroped in pitch blackness.....it was great. I look forward to doing the traditional end next summer, though the crack is really the star of this climb.
