Cruxes well protected by bolts. Can't remember if I placed any gear. Bolted anchor suitable for top roping/cleaning. I thought it was 5.10ish, but I am weak.

I think I did the harder variation. Two cruxy slab sections, but well protected. Bolted anchor, if I remember right. A great location in the sun on a cold December day. From a top-rope set on this anchor, you can do multiple easy and hard variations.

4 out of 5 stars Fun, varied route.

Easy climbing with gear in two horizontals to straight forward bolted face climbing, to the crux rib/thin crack. Wish it was longer. One fall at crux. Walk off was a little scary but probably safe by JTree standards.

This was my intro to and lead in JTree on a cold, windy day. Awkward, wide start. Some thrashing, but fun. Need a rope or longs for extension of a top rope anchor. The walk off to the left felt pretty safe.

6 long run-out out, fun pitches done as a party of four. First two belays were crappy. Easy route to find. There was a nasty swarm of flies on the summit.

Did it in 10 pitches as a group of four - last four pitches on the ridge traverse.
I'm still amazed at the number of Flatiron soloers.
