I would rate 5.6. I didn't really note any cruxy moves on the whole route. Takes pro really well. I liked this better than clean streak.

Alone on the wall

A nice sunny day.....on a long weekend......and there was no one on Deidre. Was I dreaming?

All was good except for a soaking wet part of the crack on pitch 4 (5.8) which forced me to run out that section a bit but not enough to make it scary.

fun

First time up Dora's. It was a fun climb and well protected. The small roof was easy to surmount and we were able to see the peregrine falcons flying above. The rock was slippery due to the sheer dampness of the bulletheads at this time of year (all the trails had turned into waterfalls) but the climbing was still superb.

a bit mushy

With all the snow on top of the chief melting early in the season, the bullet heads were filled with water. Slot machine had quite a bit of seepage for the first two moves but after that, it was good. Not many ascents yet at this time of year so the crack was still very dirty and filled with pine needles and other stuff. Still, unbelievable views and great climbing. Climbing higher up was a 5.8 but the first couple of moves rated 5.10- because the rock was so damn slippery!

Gotta love spring climbing in Squamish!

First went to Penny lane, then to Pixie Corner and both routes were free and we just walked right on. Gotta love spring climbing. The throngs of weekend warriors have not yet emerged from hibernation and the crags were nice and quiet on a beautiful sunny and warm day.

First climb of the season

Bruised my hands up good. I guess I let them get too pretty over the winter. It was a very enjoyable climb with really good moves and took pro great.

I'd definitely do it again.
