After pulling limestone pockets and French -freeing routes all summer, I really got worked on Vedauwoo's cracks. Even though this is a face, the delicate movement with bolts below my feet scared the crap out of me. I went and climbed some easier slabs that afternoon and sent the route on my second go.

This is the hardest .11b I have ever done. I don't like to whine about Vedauwoo being sandbagged, but this one took a lot out of me. Maybe if I wasn't such a rap bolting wuss, I could recommend this one to a visiting climber. If you want to become a Vedauwoo hero, train by lapping this one a few times.

This route is a sustained fight all the way. Very unrelenting, technical and tricky. Harder than most of the .12a's at Sinks. Very high reach up top for clip and hold. Good, but Purple Galaxy is probably a better outing.
